    Time Event
    8:54p

Guardian Angel is in intensive care after temporarily losing her powers last issue! And while she hovers on the brink, Tyler, Revenant, Harlod (the Rainmaker), and the Rainmaker kids have to get back to ps238 without being nabbed by the authorities! As if that weren't enough, Tyler's parents make an appearance! Thank goodness this thing has gone to press, or everyone would die from suspense (or kill me for causing it)! And just wait until you get to the shocking last page!!! Exclamation points can't convey the events in this comic book, but they try!!!!!!

It's also time once again for Egyptian Campaign! I'll be in Carbondale, IL from Friday afternoon through Sunday, with copies of Nodwick 32 in hand, along with all my other wares! Swing by the Southerin Illinois University campus and roll some dice with the EC crowd!

Back to the topic of superheroes (sort of): If you're anything like me (and I know I am), you have a copy of the original Marvel comic series, "Secret Wars" in your collection. Thank goodness there are people out there making sure that subsequent generations learn about this important event in our planet's history. Besides, wouldn't it be cool if Thor's helmet could hold two cold beverages? Be sure to stick around for Supergirl at the end.

My comic collection also includes "Secret War II," which features The Beyonder sporting Michael Jackson's hairdo *shudder*. I also have the first run of Marvel's "Transformers," including the limited series. I wonder what that's going for in these heady days of nostalgia?

For the artsy folk out there who like to take photos of small things: Instructions on making a super-simple light tent. I could've used this for several covers where I used digital photography. One could do some killer close-ups of miniatures, too...

And for some of, as the kids say, "teh funnay." For those unfamiliar with recent internet memes, applied with imagry, behold the ORLY owl. This has been around long enough to make many sick of it, though many more still find it amusing. Now, with that in mind, here's the Live Journal of someone who claims to have done something Dilbert-ish with the concept. I dunno if it's true (NO WAI?), but if it is, he deserves a statue in his home town.

    - This one's for my wife, who can't stand a certain flavor additive: I hate cilantro. M'self, I can take it or leave it, but the flavor does occasionally remind me of soap, if too much is used...
    - Our Lego Link of the week: A working Lego pinball machine!
    - Yes, it's a "Kids Next Door" game, but it's a lot like a favorite of mine, "Nanaca Crash." See how far you can fling some toony hamsters!
    - Gamer movie time! Yes, it's "Gamer Chic for the Non-Geek"! It's got the best "start by waking someone up" sequence ever! Getting to the film is a little convoluted, so bear with me. Go to this search page, type in "gamer" and click the first link in the search results.
    - Unless I miss my guess, this is Seth McFarlane's earlier work that led to "Family Guy."
